Arkansas District 69

A different kind of campaign

We are tending the soil of our neighborhoods to grow a healthier, connected community ecosystem. No high-pressure demands, just local roots working together to cultivate real change.

I am sure you are becoming increasingly aware, we are once again trudging into the most dreaded season in all of America … … … that’s correct, Election Season.

If you’re like me and you’ve been thinking, “I sure could use another political ad right now, I haven’t seen one in the last fifteen or twenty minutes” then I’ve got just what the doctor ordered! And it’s a good thing too because I’m an actual doctor! (I am a veterinarian, so it is possible that following "the doctor's orders" could leave you meeting new people with an unexpected and unrequited greeting.)

My name is Dean Hunter and I’m campaigning to represent Arkansas District 69. Now, this is my first political campaign since I ran for third grade student body representative at Oglethorpe Ave Elementary school many years ago. I lost … to pigtails Penny.

So this time, to better my chances, I have employed the only campaign manager I can afford, a CHAT GPT AI Campaign Consultant who I’ve named “Chad” . Chad is Bi (nary) with pronouns of 0 and 1. Chad recommended I find an Association Image for people to remember my name – so I Googled images to remember Dean Hunter and among the suggestions, I found Deer Hunter . So I dug out my vest and hat – tried to go all in on the image.

Then Chad recommended I find imaging to help people remember which office I am running for, so I Googled images to remember district 69 … … …

That produced a lot of instant images popping up all over my screen that really are very memorable, but NOT images I can share. And it appears that there is a new virus infecting everything in my house connected to the Wi-Fi causing all kinds of abnormal behavior in the household devices, (we can’t talk about what the Rumba does at night while we’re sleeping). So I think we are going to stick with just trying to make sure you remember my name, and you’ll have to come up with a system to remember District 69 on your own.

Our Root Philosophy

Cultivating connection over division

A district is not just a line drawn on a map by politicians. It is a living ecosystem of neighbors who deserve to thrive together through mutual support, active listening, and shared local growth.

Did you know that Arkansas has one of the lowest records of voter turnout of all the US states?

Rooted in Action

Tending our common ground

We believe politics should feel less like a sterile machine and more like a community garden. By focusing on local needs and ecological care, we can build a resilient neighborhood.

Our campaign is not looking for your donations, you've bought groceries and gas - you need your money for your family. We also reject all corporate donations to remain entirely accountable to you. We invest our energy in real conversations, local support systems, and sustainable growth for every resident.

Democracy only works if people have a choice and then they exercise that choice by VOTING

Don't be a weed! Be a Wildflower

Check your local voter registration status and help us grow a healthier civic ecosystem from the ground up.

Be sure to register by October 1st. Vote early if you can but vote by November 3rd
